Eric Troy “Trey” Hubbard, born July 9, 1974, departed this life on March 28, 2026. His 51 years bore witness to a heart that beat with warmth, laughter, and the irreplaceable love he shared with family, friends, and all who crossed his path.

Those who knew Trey remember him by many names, but most of all for the way he brought light into their days. His presence, equally gentle and strong, was a source of calm in storms and joy in times of celebration. He touched lives in ways both quiet and profound, and his spirit remains a cherished part of countless hearts.

Over five decades, Trey’s life's journey unfolded in acts of genuine kindness, steadfast friendship, and unwavering commitment to those he cared for. He approached each day with humility and gratitude, never shying from hard work or the simple pleasures of good company. Whether offering a wise word, lending a helping hand, or sharing a moment of laughter, Trey’s legacy is built on the love and respect he so willingly gave and received.

As we remember Trey, we gather in gratitude for the memories we hold close: the conversations that linger in our minds, the lessons inspired by his example, and the warmth of his smile. A visitation will be held on April 3, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Southern Rest Mortuary, 665 M.L.K. Jr Dr, Marks, MS 38646, offering an opportunity for friends and loved ones to reflect and share in remembrance. A Celebration of Life service will follow on April 4, 2026, at 11:30 a.m. at New Bethel M.B. Church, 300 New Bethel Rd., Darling, MS 38623, commemorating the joy and love Trey brought to this world.
