As we gather in remembrance, we honor the life of Earnest Slater Jr. Visitation will be held on Friday, June 5th, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Southern Rest Mortuary, 665 M.L.K. Jr Dr, Marks, Mississippi. A second visitation will take place Saturday, June 6th, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Longtown Church of God, 7757 Tate Panola Rd., Sarah, Mississippi. Immediately following, at noon, a Celebration of Life will be held at the same church, where friends and family will gather to share stories, honor his memory, and find solace in one another’s company.
